Happy Spring & Happy Mothers Day!!!

I hope this newsletter finds each of you doing well and enjoying the beginning of May and preparing for a busy month of visits from our children and grandchildren as well as time spent with our graduates of both high school and college!!

In celebration of Spring and Mothers Day several companies are running sales:
*Janome is offering free items and a discounted price on many of their machines, and I have ordered  many of them to display in the store, so yes we have them in stock! They also have a financing promotion running this month -
*Arrow & Kangaroo Cabinets are 20% off of MSRP
*Our New Koala's are also on sale for 20% off MSRP
*Handi Quilter is running its anniversary sale from the 16th - 30th - 0 down 0% interest for 36 months and $20 Shipping.
*In addition to these sales I am also putting all Oliso irons & Ott Lites on sale for 20% off!

Our first PHD Quilter's Retreat is happening this coming up weekend and I hope all of you have a good time up in Santo, Texas!

I am kicking off a two new programs here at PHD Quilts!!!

The first one is sale related - The Daily Sale Bolt - Each morning the first person to come into the store and buy yardage off of a bolt will receive 20% off that first cut off the bolt. Then the bolt will be placed on display at the front of the store and everyone who buys fabric off that bolt will receive 15% off their cut of fabric.

The second is our PHDs to Quilts Program - You will provide us with a list of your PHDs (Projects half Done), they need to be quilts, not bags or table runners, and they need to be quilting related. As you complete each project you will bring them in and we will check them off your list - yes, they have to be quilted and bound. And for finishing your PHDs you will receive the following:

Get your Associate of Arts in Quilting with 10 PHDs Completed
you receive a PHD Quilts Window Decal
Get your Bachelors of Arts in Quilting with 20 PHDs Completed
you receive a PHD Quilts T-Shirt
Get your Masters of Arts in Quilting with 40 PHDs Completed
you receive a PHD Quilts Bag
Get your PhD in PHDs when you complete 60 PHDs
you receive 1/2 of your PHD Quilting retreat fee!

On a personal note, I wish to thank each of you for your thoughts and prayers during my family's time of loss, my brother is out of pain and in the father's arms now, as is my Aunt whose memory is now whole again as she rejoins her family and her heavenly father. Your prayers were greatly needed and wholly felt and I truly appreciate each and every one of you both for the prayers already said and for continuing to hold my family up in prayer as we adjust to life here on earth without pieces of our family.

Again, thank you all for your continued support of the shop, I really enjoy spending time with you all and helping you finish your quilts.
Until I see you, please be safe, happy, and quilting!
