November Newsletter

November is Here!!!

I have spent the last four days in Houston at Quilt Market and many of you are on your way to Quilt Festival – what a wonderful way to kick off the month!!!! Premier Club is brimming to the top since we had to move it back a week and you all will also get the inside scoop on what is coming in the next few months!

I promise that I will get all the pictures on the website before we are one-years-old! If you haven’t checked us out online please click on over and check it out www.tomorrowsquilts.com

Now for some changes occurring at the shop:

Julie has decided to spend more time with her family and will only be at the shop on Saturdays through the end of the year when she will return to being a full time mom and housewife.

Tina has been inspired by Kaffe Fassett to return to her dream of designing fabrics, and has given her two weeks’ notice.

I support both of these ladies in following their hearts desire and wish them nothing but the best.

If any of you are interested in working in the quilt shop and are detail oriented, happy and enthusiastic about fabric please come in and fill out an application, I will be interviewing applicants the week before Thanksgiving. Until we have these positions filled Ellen and I will be here daily and Sue will be pinch hitting for us as well.

Because we haven’t had Premier Club yet – the moving of fabric hasn’t occurred, but will very shortly after our Saturday meeting. We have 2 spots left for the 1pm time slot. It is lots of fun and a great time of sharing, if you are interested please let me know and I will get you enrolled!

We are going to begin our Holiday make-and-takes this week. Starting Saturday each Thursday and Saturday we will be making a new project – this week it is English Paper Piecing! We will make a bio-sphere bowl, great for the desk or bedside, wherever you need a little catch all bowl. The Class is $25 and includes everything you will need for the project! See below or online for the Make-and-Take events throughout November and December!

Holiday Sales and Savings Events:

Handi Quilter is celebrating the Houston International Quilt Festival with some great add-ons when you but a

new machine. I still have a Sweet Sixteen, an Avante and a Pro-Stitcher floor model reduced in price (they will not qualify for the add-ons but they are great deals!).

Arrow and Kangaroo Cabinets that are floor models are reduced in price – you are receiving pre-assembled cabinets and ready to assemble pricing saving you hundreds of dollars, and some of these cabinets have just been put together!

Janome has just sent me their Holiday savings guide as well and many of their machines are either on sale or have great savings in free accessories.

To celebrate the holidays along with these great manufacturers:

Our “color/theme” of the month for November is “Christmas” all Christmas on the bolt or Christmas kits are 15% off for the month of November!
